How does someone join your chapter?
Membership into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is by invitation and requires a commitment to the organization’s principles: Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. If you’re interested in learning more about our chapter, upcoming informational meetings, or how to express your interest formally, please contact us at zetasofmc@gmail.com or follow us on social media for updates.
How do I show that I’m interested in joining?
Joining Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is a lifetime commitment—and becoming a part of our chapter requires serious dedication as well. One of the best ways to express your interest is by getting to know who we are and what we stand for.
Our chapter regularly hosts public events throughout the year, all of which are promoted on our website and social media platforms. We encourage you to attend these events, introduce yourself to members, and learn more about our mission and the work we do. Genuine, consistent engagement goes a long way in showing us that you’re serious about sisterhood and service.
I was a member in undergrad—how do I reactivate?

We’d love to welcome you back! Please reach out to us via email at zetasofmc@gmail.com for reactivation guidance. We can help you get started with paperwork, fees, and a warm reintroduction to our chapter!
Do I need to be a college student to join?

Our chapter is a graduate chapter, which means membership is open to women who have already earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Are there age requirements?

Prospective members must be at least 18 years of age and possess a four-year degree from an accredited institution.
Is there a cost to join?
​
Yes! There are costs associated with membership. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is a business, so initiation fees and ongoing financial obligations are required at the chapter, state, regional, and national levels. These dues support the operations, programs, and scholarships that allow Zeta to continue its legacy of service and sisterhood. Specific amounts vary by chapter and membership category, and full details are provided during the membership intake process.
Is anything else you look for in potential members?

​It is expected that individuals who are invited to membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. have demonstrated a commitment to community service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood. If you are considering membership, we encourage you to become familiar with Zeta’s Policy Against Hazing. You are never required to participate in hazing activities to become a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. In fact, members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and women who are interested in membership are prohibited from engaging in conduct that violates the Policy Against Hazing.
